By watching their own work alongside specific film clips, actors incorporate an understanding of how meaning is attributed in visual narratives. As we advance, actors transition to filming fully “covered” dialogue scenes that include various camera shots and angles, selected from different scenes. Throughout the week, the primary aim is to equip actors with a comprehensive understanding of the language of cinematic stories, emphasising the actor’s ability to effectively convey the narrative through both internal and external expressions.
